Overview
Confidential Client (nutrition manufacturing) is hiring an entry-level Production Cleaning Specialist to support sanitation and daily cleaning operations at their Casa Grande, AZ manufacturing site. This role focuses on cleaning and sanitizing production equipment and food-contact areas to meet FDA, OSHA, and internal compliance standards. The position is a full-time, 12-hour day-shift schedule.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure assigned production and processing areas are cleaned and sanitized using approved procedures and Sanitation SOPs.
- Clean and sanitize food processing equipment and facilities according to job standards.
- Operate specialized cleaning equipment such as automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, and scissor lifts as needed.
- Prevent cross-contamination of product, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces and packaging during sanitation.
- Perform pre-inspection of cleaned equipment and coordinate approvals with supervisors.
- Remove trash/garbage, mop, clean floor drains and maintain exterior areas as required.
- Complete required sanitation and work order documentation accurately and on time.
- Wash and maintain cleaning carts, tools, and sanitation equipment; keep supplies stocked and organized.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the sanitation supervisor and assist in other trained areas when needed.
- Follow all safety and compliance policies, including FDA, OSHA, and Confidential Client procedures.
Shift & Pay
- 12-hour Day shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Schedule cycles to provide every-other-weekend off (detailed rotation provided during interview/onboarding).
- Pay range (provided by source): $17.15 – $34.25 per hour (may vary by location).
Qualifications
- Required:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Preferred:
- Previous cleaning or sanitation experience in manufacturing or food processing environments.
- You must be eligible to work in the United States. All hires will be required to verify identity and employment eligibility and complete federal I-9 verification.
