Overview
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Production Cleaning Specialist (Day Shift) to support sanitation and cleaning activities at a manufacturing facility in Casa Grande, AZ. This is a full-time, hands-on role focused on maintaining a safe, sanitary production environment for food/nutrition products. Candidates who are reliable, safety-minded, and ready to learn sanitation SOPs and equipment operation are encouraged to apply.
What You’ll Do
- Create and maintain a spotless, safe production environment using approved sanitation methods.
- Clean and sanitize processing and production equipment to meet food-safety standards.
- Operate specialized cleaning tools and equipment (floor scrubbers, vacuums, scissor lifts, etc.).
- Follow Sanitation SOPs and complete sanitation logs and work-order documentation accurately.
- Prevent cross-contamination by following proper cleaning sequences and controls.
- Remove trash, mop, clean floor drains, and maintain exterior areas as needed.
- Help maintain and perform basic upkeep on sanitation equipment.
- Support other departments when trained and required.
- Adhere to FDA, OSHA, and Confidential Client policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Required: High school diploma or GED.
- Preferred: Previous cleaning or sanitation experience in manufacturing or food/ nutrition environments.
- Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods and to lift, carry, push, or pull weights (regularly more than 20 lbs).
- Comfortable performing repetitive movements and working in noisy / clean-room environments.
- Willingness to wear required PPE and follow safety protocols.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States; employment verification required upon hire.
Schedule & Pay
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Shift: 12-hour Day Shift — 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Rotation and time off: Predictable rotating schedule with every-other-weekend off. Typical 4-week rotation (see full schedule below).
- Week 1: Wed & Thurs (12 hrs)
- Week 2: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun (12 hrs)
- Week 3: Wed & Thurs (12 hrs)
- Week 4: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun (12 hrs)
- Pay range: $17.15 – $34.25 per hour (actual pay may vary by location and experience).
