What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Production Chemist to support oligonucleotide research, development, and GMP manufacturing workflows. You will:

• Independently produce notebook, development, pilot and production materials per written directions
• Support New Product Development activities and assist Core and Extended Core Team members
• Provide oligo process support to Operations through instrument and process troubleshooting
• Assist with NCR investigations and associated testing
• Analyze in-process and final oligonucleotides using modern analytical techniques
• Troubleshoot basic manufacturing process issues and help implement corrective actions
• Track, analyze, and trend process data tied to development activities
• Create and help assemble change control and batch documentation
• Maintain laboratory spaces under cGMP conditions and complete ERP / cycle count transactions
• Keep accurate records, maintain supplies, and follow Good Documentation Practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or another science-related field
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
• Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping
• Positive work ethic and ability to work effectively in team environments
• Entry-level: generally up to approximately five years of related experience

Preferred Experience

• Oligonucleotide synthesis experience
• HPLC-based oligonucleotide purification experience

Physical & Site Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Personal protective equipment required while working in the laboratory
• Business-casual attire and closed-toe shoes required

Compensation

• Estimated salary: $74,077 per year (estimated)
