What You’ll Do

This Production Associate II role is an entry-level manufacturing position supporting production operations in a regulated diagnostics/manufacturing environment. You will work under supervision, learn processes, and contribute to producing high-quality finished goods.

  • Perform buffer preparation and manual dispensing; support automated fill/cap/label lines and kitting of finished goods.
  • Operate and assist with label application, basic label printing, and routine production machines.
  • Support inventory management using KANBAN for raw materials, intermediates, disposables, and spare parts.
  • Assist in cleaning and maintaining production lab spaces and equipment.
  • Help generate and support documentation for Nonconforming Material Reports, Change Orders, Out-of-Specifications events, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and follow Change Request/Change Order processes.
  • Follow written procedures, maintain accurate documentation, and comply with Quality Management System policies (cGMP).
  • Coordinate work with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with supervisors.
  • Be available for scheduled shifts and overtime as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in life sciences or a related field — OR High School diploma/GED plus 2 years relevant experience.
  • 1+ years experience in a laboratory or manufacturing environment (through work, education, or a combination).
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail appropriate for a GMP environment.
  • Proficient with basic software (Microsoft Office).
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties of the role with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field.
  • Prior experience in a GMP-regulated environment.
  • Experience following standard operating procedures and strong cGMP documentation practices.

Compensation & Logistics

  • Pay range: $17.00 – $34.00 per hour (base). Specific pay may vary by location and applicable laws.
  • Employment type: Full-time.
  • This role requires regular, reliable attendance and the ability to work the designated schedule; overtime may be required.
  • Travel between local sites may be required.

Physical & Work Environment

  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds (~25% of the day).
  • Expect to stand ~80% of the day and sit ~20% of the day at times.
  • Tasks include fine manipulation (pipetting, traying), repetitive motions, and use of lab equipment and moving machinery.
  • Work in lab environments with chemical irritants, sharp instruments, electrical equipment, and hazardous waste; use of PPE (safety glasses, lab coat, gloves, hair nets, etc.) required.
  • Ability to use mobile devices, tablets, or computers for documentation (~50% of the day).
