What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring a Production Assistant to support a weekend morning show production team in New York, NY. This full-time, onsite role helps drive daily show preparation and live production by supporting producers, editing and prepping video/graphics, coordinating guests, and completing administrative and pre-production assignments. Early-morning and overnight shifts are required.
- Support producers across all stages of show production: pre-pro, rundowns, rehearsals and live broadcast
- Conduct and compile research for hosts and producers
- Assist producers and associate producers with editing video and preparing graphics
- Coordinate guest logistics and support on-air guest needs
- Perform administrative tasks for anchors and senior producers as assigned
- Help manage show rundowns, clip libraries, and media assets
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months TV or streaming experience (including internships) in a news or talk-show environment
- Hands-on experience editing video (Avid, Premiere, Final Cut, or similar)
- Familiarity with ENPS or iNews preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Self-starter who proactively seeks tasks and opportunities for growth

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $18.00 to $22.00 per hour (depending on experience)
