Role Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Product Safety Engineer based in Littleton, MA. This role focuses on testing and evaluating renewable-energy and related electrical products against national and international safety standards. You will work with senior engineers, perform hands-on test setups, document results, and support client communications.

Responsibilities

• Read and determine applicability of national and international codes and standards for equipment under test
• Set up, operate, and perform product safety testing per applicable standards
• Compile test data, results, and product descriptions to prepare clear final reports
• Communicate project status and test findings to clients, sales, and management
• Cross-train on renewable energy testing disciplines (inverters, battery systems, EV equipment) with guidance from senior engineers

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline
• 0–2 years of experience — recent graduates encouraged to apply
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 15% as needed
• Curiosity and a willingness to learn technical safety standards and laboratory/testing procedures

Compensation & Work Type

• Base salary: $68,000–$88,000 per year (range provided by client)
• Employment type: Full-time
• Location: Littleton, MA — on-site or local commuting expected; some travel (up to 15%) may be required
