Product Quoters/Estimators (Ag Equipment)
The Product Quoter/Estimator role involves preparing accurate quotations and manufacturing cost estimates for engineered industrial and agricultural equipment. What You’ll Do
As a Product Quoter / Estimator you will develop accurate, competitive quotations and manufacturing cost estimates for engineered products—primarily agricultural and industrial equipment. You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Operations, and Sales to ensure quotes reflect specifications, costs, lead times, and margin targets.
- Prepare accurate product quotations and manufacturing cost estimates
- Review customer specifications, engineering drawings, and RFQs
- Analyze materials, labor, purchased components, and manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, Operations, and Sales throughout the quotation process
- Maintain pricing and costing data in ERP/MRP and estimating systems
- Communicate with customers on quotations and technical questions
- Identify opportunities to improve quoting accuracy and cycle time
- Support sales by delivering timely, competitive proposals
Product Quoter / Estimator I — Early Career
Ideal for candidates beginning a manufacturing estimating career.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent manufacturing experience considered
- Manufacturing or technical background preferred
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and basic manufacturing processes
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- ERP experience is a plus
- Eager to learn and grow into a long-term manufacturing role
Product Quoter / Estimator II — Experienced
For experienced manufacturing estimators; agricultural equipment background strongly preferred.
- Extensive manufacturing estimating and quoting experience
- Agricultural equipment manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Experience quoting fabricated equipment, conveyors, material handling systems, OEM machinery, or other engineered industrial products
- Strong understanding of fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, and engineered manufacturing processes
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, BOMs, and customer specifications
- ERP/MRP system experience required
- Strong business acumen with the ability to develop competitive pricing while maintaining profitability

Compensation & Location
- Base salary range: $60,000 — $80,000 per year (annual range provided by the confidential client)
- Location: Renner, SD (on-site / local) — employment with the confidential client
- Employment type: Full-time
