What You’ll Do
This entry-level Product Management & Operations Analyst role supports the product and operations teams that maintain the client’s investment product platform (mutual funds, SMAs, UMAs, interval funds, etc.). You will work across operations, platform onboarding, reporting, and controls to ensure products are launched, administered, and reported accurately.
- Support product management and platform onboarding activities for investment products.
- Assist with coordinating platform agreements, fee schedules, and operational requirements.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Client Service, Technology, and Compliance to implement product changes and new platform listings.
- Track project deliverables, timelines, and status updates for product initiatives.
- Respond to inquiries from internal and external business partners and service providers.
- Support account onboarding, maintenance, and transaction/data reconciliations.
- Research and resolve operational discrepancies with internal teams and third parties.
- Support portfolio accounting, manager payment processing, and reconciliations for third‑party SMA strategies.
- Coordinate subscription and onboarding documentation with fund administrators and service providers.
- Support interval fund cash movements, wiring, and reconciliation activities.
- Prepare reports on AUM, sales, flows, and platform activity; contribute to quarterly and board reporting.
- Maintain process documentation, operational procedures, and support control/due-diligence activities.
- Help coordinate recurring meetings, reviews, and reporting schedules.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, accounting, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of investment markets, securities, portfolio accounting, and financial operations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project-management skills; ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail; ability to identify, research, and resolve data and process issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable collaborating across business, operations, technology, and compliance teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, lookups). Experience with VBA/macros or investment operations systems is a plus.
- Must obtain and maintain FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses within 12 months of hire (sponsorship/support provided).
Compensation & Location
- Location: Princeton, NJ (onsite)
- Employment type: Full-time
- Salary range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year (starting salary determined by experience and qualifications). This range is provided in accordance with applicable pay transparency requirements.
