About the Role

Our confidential client is hiring an entry-level Product Marketing Specialist to support product marketing for technical, B2B engineering solutions. This hands-on role is ideal for an early-career marketer who enjoys working at the intersection of product, sales, engineering, and marketing. The role is onsite in Sunnyvale, CA.


Key Responsibilities

Product Marketing Materials

  • Support creation and maintenance of product datasheets, brochures, solution briefs, slide decks, and other customer-facing collateral.
  • Collect and validate product specs and feature details with Product and Engineering.
  • Translate technical information into clear, customer-friendly messaging.
  • Maintain consistency and accuracy across product marketing assets and a centralized content library.
  • Update website content, sales enablement materials, and product presentations for new features and releases.

Trade Shows & Industry Events

  • Coordinate trade show registration, sponsorships, exhibitor requirements, deadlines, and logistics.
  • Assist with booth materials, product displays, demos, signage, and promotional items.
  • Track shipping, schedules, and deliverables; maintain an annual events calendar.
  • Support preparation of presentations, demos, and product materials for conferences and customer events.

Sales & Product Support

  • Prepare and organize materials for customer meetings, demos, and partner discussions.
  • Support Sales and Business Development with up-to-date product collateral and competitive insights.
  • Assist with competitive and market research; gather customer use cases and feedback.
  • Help enable cross-functional teams with product positioning and messaging.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field — or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years’ experience in marketing, product marketing, technical marketing, or sales enablement; internships and project experience considered.
  • Comfortable learning technical products and working with product specifications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to turn technical details into clear copy.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when managing event deadlines and documentation.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint and common productivity tools.
  • Collaborative working style; able to coordinate with Product, Engineering, Sales, and other teams.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple small projects concurrently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with B2B technology, hardware/software products, IoT, AI, sensors, or transportation/engineering solutions.
  • Experience creating datasheets, brochures, or technical presentations.
  • Prior support for trade shows, conferences, or industry events.
  • Basic understanding of product positioning, use cases, and competitive analysis.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: $70,000 – $100,000 per year.
  • Salary is one component of total compensation; additional benefits may include discretionary bonuses and potential equity opportunities. Exact benefits and eligibility details will be provided by our client.

Location & Work Type

  • Worksite: Sunnyvale, CA (onsite).
  • Employment type: Full-time.
  • NOTE: This position is not eligible for employment-based immigration sponsorship.
