What You’ll Do
This role is for a Product Manager focused on customer-facing eCommerce storefronts (Shopify Plus). You will own product strategy, roadmaps, and delivery to improve conversion, average order value (AOV), site navigation, search, and overall user experience.
- Own and prioritize the eCommerce storefront product roadmap and backlog.
- Write clear product requirements (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Lead Shopify Plus storefront projects from concept through launch.
- Partner closely with Engineering, UX, Business Analysts, Creative, Operations, and third-party vendors.
- Drive improvements across Shopify themes, custom apps, APIs, checkout, and third-party integrations.
- Use analytics (GA4), user feedback, and A/B testing to identify growth and conversion opportunities.
- Lead user acceptance testing (UAT), defect triage, release readiness, and post-launch analysis.
- Communicate priorities, timelines, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders.
- Produce product documentation, training materials, and user guides to support adoption.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of eCommerce Product Management or Product Owner experience.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify Plus (themes, apps, APIs, checkout).
- Proven ownership of product roadmaps and end-to-end delivery.
- Track record improving conversion, AOV, navigation, search, or site performance.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, Agile delivery, and stakeholder management.
- Experience leading UAT and successful product releases.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Google Analytics/GA4, and Shopify Admin.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in Philadelphia, PA as required by the confidential client.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing multiple Shopify Plus storefronts, brands, or regions.
- Background in music, entertainment, merchandise, retail, fashion, or DTC eCommerce.
- Familiarity with headless commerce, personalization, and high-traffic launches.
- Experience with A/B testing platforms and experimentation frameworks.
- Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or related certification.
Working Arrangement & Location
- Employment type: Contract (as classified by the confidential client).
- Work arrangement: Hybrid — local presence in Philadelphia, PA required per role needs.
