Role Overview

This Product Manager — Salesforce role supports enterprise Salesforce and adjacent platforms used by Global TV Distribution. You will partner with business stakeholders, engineering, vendors, and technical teams to translate business needs into prioritized product enhancements, support roadmap planning, and drive adoption of new capabilities. The confidential client seeks a candidate with strong Salesforce platform experience, product thinking, and excellent communication skills across business and technical audiences.


What You’ll Do

  • Support and maintain the product roadmap for Salesforce and related business applications, including release planning and prioritization.
  • Act as product manager and SME for assigned platforms; provide guidance on capabilities, enhancements, and operational needs.
  • Understand business processes, user needs, and operational priorities to identify practical platform improvements.
  • Define product goals, success measures, and prioritization criteria tied to business value.
  • Lead product discovery activities (stakeholder interviews, process analysis, data review) and document user needs.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog, balancing roadmap initiatives, production support, technical debt, risk, and UX improvements.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, architects, and technical partners to clarify requirements and review solution options.
  • Ensure product decisions consider scalability, maintainability, security, compliance, and integrations.
  • Support stakeholder communication, change management, training, and adoption for new or updated capabilities.
  • Monitor adoption, usage, production support trends, and recurring enhancement requests to recommend future product improvements.

Qualifications (Required)

  • 5+ years of product management, business analysis, or technology delivery experience for enterprise applications.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce platform experience.
  • Proven experience supporting product roadmaps, backlog prioritization, release planning, and product lifecycle activities.
  • Experience translating business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and delivery-ready work items.
  • 5+ years working within SDLC and Agile delivery processes.
  • Working knowledge of IT project delivery methods (Agile/Scrum and Waterfall) and tools such as Jira.
  • Experience partnering with stakeholders, engineering teams, vendors, and technical partners to deliver platform enhancements.
  • Experience supporting production applications (issue triage, stakeholder communication, enhancement intake).
  • Strong ability to assess business impact, identify risks, and recommend practical solution options.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills across business, product, engineering, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field — or equivalent experience.

Desired Characteristics

  • One or more Salesforce certifications.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning, Data 360, Agentforce, or related Salesforce capabilities.
  • Experience defining success measures, adoption metrics, or operational KPIs for enterprise technology products.
  • Background in Media & Entertainment, studio-based TV distribution, sales operations, finance systems, or content distribution workflows.
  • Proficiency with BI tools, Salesforce reports, SQL, or SOQL to analyze data and inform product decisions.
  • Experience creating process flows, wireframes, or mockups to clarify user needs and solution direction.
  • Familiarity with data architecture, integration patterns, data warehouse concepts, or ETL/middleware tools.
  • Experience working with distributed or international project teams.

Location & Schedule

  • Hybrid: this position requires a minimum of four days per week in the office. The client reserves the right to change in-office requirements.
  • Job location: Universal City, CA.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $110,000 - $145,000 per year.
