What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring a Product Manager to lead software and hardware product workstreams for robotics and autonomy solutions. You will own the product roadmap, translate customer needs into clear requirements, and drive releases end-to-end.
- Build and maintain a long-term product roadmap aligned to business goals and customer needs
- Define product requirements, acceptance criteria, and user stories for software + hardware features
- Engage directly with customers and partners to elicit technical requirements and validate solutions
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, operations, support) to set production timelines and deliver on schedule
- Manage product roll-outs, pilot programs, and adoption activities
- Monitor product performance after launch: define and track metrics, manage bugs, and prioritize improvements
- Drive continuous feedback loops to shape the next product iterations and reduce time-to-value
What We’re Looking For
We seek a pragmatic product manager experienced with both software and hardware products and who can comfortably engage technical customers.
- Experience in product management that spans software and hardware systems
- Proven ability to engage customers to understand requirements, use cases, and failure modes
- Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis to inform product direction
- Track record managing product roll-outs and coordinating releases across multiple teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Must live locally in Pittsburgh and be available to commute to the office / work on-site as required
Preferred (nice-to-have)
- Experience with robotics, autonomy, or navigation systems
- Familiarity with telemetry/metrics-driven product decisions and bug-tracking workflows
Compensation & Location
- Location: Pittsburgh, PA — this role is on-site; candidates must be available to live locally and commute.
- Employment type: Full-time
- Compensation: Up to $160,000 (base, as stated by the client)
