Confidential Client is hiring a Product Manager, Perimeter & Intrusion Security to lead product strategy, requirements, and delivery for perimeter and intrusion detection/security products. This full-time role focuses on translating customer needs into product roadmaps, coordinating cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, go-to-market), and driving measurable security outcomes.
What You’ll Do
Product Manager, Perimeter & Intrusion Security — lead product workstreams that advance perimeter protection and intrusion detection capabilities.
- Define product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for perimeter & intrusion security features.
- Gather and prioritize customer, partner, and stakeholder requirements through interviews, field research, and data analysis.
- Write clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria; collaborate closely with engineering and security architects to deliver timely releases.
- Drive cross-functional execution with engineering, firmware/hardware teams (if applicable), operations, and go-to-market teams.
- Monitor product performance in production, analyze telemetry and incident data, and iterate to improve detection accuracy and reduce false positives.
- Act as the product expert externally — support customer briefings, technical integrations, and partner engagements.
- Balance short-term delivery with long-term technical strategy, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance.
What We’re Looking For (required)
- 3+ years of product management experience with security, physical security, or network/IoT-related products (or equivalent experience).
- Demonstrated experience defining roadmap and launching security-focused product features.
- Strong technical fluency with intrusion detection, sensors, telemetry, or related security systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to translate technical trade-offs for business stakeholders.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion.
- Bachelor’s degree (per the original posting requirement) or equivalent practical experience.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with perimeter security domains (intrusion detection, CCTV integration, physical access, sensor fusion).
- Background in SaaS security products, device firmware, or embedded systems product management.
- Familiarity with security standards, privacy considerations, and regulatory requirements impacting physical security.
- Experience working with venture-backed companies, startups, or in fast-paced product organizations.
