About the Role
We are partnering with a Confidential Client in the Financial Services sector to hire a founding Product Manager for their Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) product. This is a zero-to-one, high-impact product role: you will be the central node for execution, working cross-functionally to turn ambitious roadmaps into shipped products. The team values speed, craft, and close collaboration — this role will work closely with engineering, design, advisory, client experience, and investment teams.
What You’ll Do
- Live at the center of execution: coordinate stakeholders, unblock teams, and keep projects on track
- Partner deeply with Engineering, Design, Wealth Advisory, Client Experience, and Investment Management to produce documentation, prototypes, and shipped features
- Systematically incorporate client feedback and data into product decisions and priorities
- Launch new products and features that rapidly validate or invalidate hypotheses
- Drive a culture of fast experimentation balanced with rigor and empathy
Qualifications
- Founder-like operator — proven ability to take ideas from roadmap to execution in ambiguous environments; ex-founders encouraged to apply
- Scrappy and organized — hands-on, resourceful, and able to bring order to high-velocity startups
- Data-driven — you track what matters and use data to inform decisions
- Wartime experience — you’ve thrived in resource-constrained, fast-moving settings; ideally you’ve been an early or sole PM on a high-growth team
- User-obsessed — deep empathy for clients and a talent for translating insights into product choices
- Fintech acumen — strong understanding of financial products, regulations, and user behavior in the space; experience in regulated industries is a plus
Compensation & Employment Type
- Base salary range: $185,000 – $250,000 (USD)
- Competitive cash compensation plus equity opportunities (details provided by the Confidential Client)
- Employment type: Full-time
Location & Work Arrangement
- Location: New York, NY — this role is expected to be on-site and highly collaborative. Candidates should be able to work in New York and participate in in-person team activities.
