Role Overview
Confidential Client is hiring a Product Manager to lead a cross-functional team building digital products for client and clinical experiences. This role shares accountability with an engineering counterpart to deliver outcomes, owns team backlog prioritization and quality, and uses product metrics and OKRs to drive decisions. The position is based in Irving, TX and is a contract engagement.
What You’ll Do
- Share accountability with engineering for team delivery and outcomes
- Build, prioritize, edit, and maintain the team backlog to ensure clear intent and alignment to roadmap and strategy
- Lead backlog refinement sessions and validate user stories meet acceptance criteria
- Support testing, deployment, release, and post-release activities
- Work with engineering and others to optimize the team model and align across higher-level epics
- Use performance data to identify issues and form hypotheses about product health
- Track and socialize team metrics that contribute to product OKRs
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, architecture, operations, and other stakeholders using product and agile practices
- Produce product/experience demos and present progress to stakeholders
- Serve as the point of contact for feature delivery and coordinate with domain owners for epic-level alignment
- Clarify and refine the product vision, strategy, and roadmap as communicated by senior product leaders
- Partner with product leadership, customer experience, and design to integrate customer perspective into features and experiences
Qualifications (Minimum)
- Experience as a Product Manager or similar role owning a team backlog and delivering digital products
- Strong knowledge of agile practices and experience running refinement/planning sessions
- Proven ability to translate product strategy into clear team-level priorities and user stories
- Comfortable using product metrics and OKRs to measure health and guide decisions
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills; able to present demos and progress to stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
- Ability to work on-site in Irving, TX — applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Background in IT services, IT consulting, or client/clinical digital products
- Experience partnering with architects and operations teams on delivery alignment
- Familiarity with tooling for backlog management and product analytics
