What You’ll Do
Product strategy, lifecycle ownership, and technical leadership for industrial exhaust and after‑treatment product lines. Responsibilities include:
- Own product strategy and lifecycle management for industrial exhaust and after‑treatment systems.
- Act as the technical product expert in customer meetings, design reviews, and solution development.
- Convert customer requirements into engineered solutions in partnership with cross‑functional engineering teams.
- Support product validation, regulatory compliance, performance testing, and roadmap development.
- Manage supplier relationships for electromechanical components (DEF systems, dosing pumps, injectors, sensors, controllers, fluid handling).
- Monitor customer needs, emissions regulations, and industry trends to inform product direction.
- Collaborate with global engineering, manufacturing, commercial, and supplier teams.
- Balance customer‑specific solutions with longer‑term, scalable product roadmaps.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 12+ years of relevant experience in engineering, product management, application engineering, or similar technical roles.
- Direct experience with industrial exhaust, emissions control, after‑treatment, or large‑engine systems.
- Strong understanding of Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) architectures.
- Hands‑on experience with electromechanical subsystems and components (DEF systems, dosing pumps, injectors, sensors, controllers, fluid handling).
- Proven experience working with customers, suppliers, and cross‑functional engineering teams.
- Strong technical communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work with global teams and support both strategic planning and customer‑specific technical needs.
Preferred Background
- Experience in industrial emissions, large‑engine exhaust, power generation, heavy equipment, or after‑treatment product environments.
- Experience managing supplier portfolios for complex electromechanical assemblies.
- Field experience supporting validation, commissioning, or troubleshooting of after‑treatment systems is a plus.
Location & Travel
- Preferred location: Stoughton, WI. Candidates local to Stoughton or willing to relocate are strongly preferred.
- Midwest-based candidates may be considered for hybrid/remote flexibility.
- Travel: approximately 25% for local hires; up to ~50% for hybrid/remote candidates (mix of facility and customer site visits).
Compensation & Schedule
- Base salary: $125,000–$150,000 (base) + benefits.
- Schedule: Full‑time.
