What You’ll Do
You will lead cross-functional teams (engineering, design, data science, and business stakeholders) to design, develop, and deliver high-quality, user-focused digital products for healthcare and public-sector clients in regulated environments. Your work will combine user empathy, systems thinking, and responsible AI to drive measurable outcomes for patients, members, and citizens.

- Write and groom product backlogs, user stories, and success metrics.
- Take products from concept to production—own deliveries and iterate based on feedback and metrics.
- Collaborate with engineering on API-driven, cloud-native architectures and with security/risk teams to meet compliance requirements.
- Evaluate and integrate generative AI and agentic capabilities (e.g., RAG architectures, model orchestration) in a secure, explainable, and responsible way.
- Design for configurability and reusability so solutions can be adapted across clients and contexts.
- Surface trade-offs, risks, and technical constraints; lead conversations to balance speed, quality, and compliance.
- Mentor more junior product managers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and constructive feedback.

- 7+ years of relevant product management experience, including at least one product taken from concept to production.
- Experience in agile development and working on product delivery teams.
- Demonstrated experience building or shipping AI-enabled products and evaluating AI use cases for feasibility and responsible deployment.
- Knowledge of engineering best practices (TDD, CI/CD) and experience working with engineering teams on technical trade-offs.
- Experience operating in regulated or compliance-driven environments (healthcare, government).
- Proficiency drawing wireframes, storyboards, and defining acceptance criteria.
- Foundational understanding of generative AI, RAG, model orchestration, and AI-enabled workflows.
- Strong time-management and the ability to work autonomously in complex environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and ability to adapt style for different stakeholders and seniority levels.
- Location: Chicago, IL (on-site or hybrid as specified by the Confidential Client).
