Role Overview
Confidential Client is hiring a Product Manager to support their Administration product portfolio. You will work closely with the Lead Product Manager and a cross-functional Scrum team to define high-value product features, write user stories and acceptance criteria, refine the product backlog, and help deliver customer-focused solutions using Agile practices. This is a full-time role based in Dallas, TX. Occasional travel (up to 10%) and participation in on-call rotation may be required.
What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with the Lead Product Manager to develop product vision, goals, themes, and roadmap items.
- Create clear user stories and acceptance criteria that translate product priorities into actionable backlog items.
- Participate in and help lead daily Scrum ceremonies, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and stakeholder reviews.
- Serve as the primary source of external information for the Scrum team—define target capability and value independent of implementation.
- Work closely with Engineering and QA to resolve implementation questions and review test plans for alignment with acceptance criteria.
- Communicate release contents and expected product behavior to internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure product features are delivered on time and with the expected quality.
- Monitor impediments to release objectives and suggest corrective actions as needed.
- Provide weekly project status updates to senior management and contribute to Agile maturity initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support product delivery.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant product or related experience (e.g., product ownership, business analysis, or Scrum team support).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Ability to travel occasionally (up to 10%) for team summits, customer meetings, or company events.
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotations as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Agile values and Scrum methodology.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and execute in high-pressure, multi-project environments.
- Experience writing user stories, use cases, and functional requirements.
- Solid knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and modern Agile practices.
- Excellent problem solving, conflict resolution, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- High attention to detail while maintaining a results-oriented focus.
Compensation & Benefits
A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $80,500 - $110,600 USD (United States). Actual pay depends on experience, qualifications, and location.
