Overview
Confidential Client is seeking a Product Manager to own and scale internal analytics products—dashboards, reporting tools, and insight-generation capabilities—for utilization management and related analytics teams. This role partners closely with data science, engineering, design, and business stakeholders to ship high-quality analytics features, run intake and prioritization for ad hoc requests, and measure product adoption and impact.
This position is eligible for full-time Remote or Hybrid (1 day/week on-site in New York, NY).
What You’ll Do
- Own the roadmap and backlog for an internal analytics product (dashboards, reporting, insight tools) from requirements through launch and iteration.
- Manage intake, triage, and prioritization of ad hoc analytics requests while balancing roadmap commitments.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and SME interviews to translate ambiguous business processes into clear requirements.
- Write user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specs for data science and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with designers on UX flows, wireframes, and dashboard/report design.
- Support engineering and data science through requirement clarification, sprint ceremonies, and maintaining user context.
- Run day-to-day Agile ceremonies (planning, backlog grooming, standups) and champion best practices.
- Coordinate dependencies with other squads and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Define and monitor product and adoption metrics; use data to prioritize improvements.
- Communicate product status, trade-offs, and roadmap changes to stakeholders and leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years in Product Management or Technical Product Management.
- 2+ years working cross-functionally with Data Science and/or Engineering teams.
- 2+ years partnering with SMEs to define requirements in ambiguous processes.
- 2+ years stakeholder management experience.
- 2+ years working with Agile methodologies.
- 1+ years experience building analytics, reporting, or dashboard products.
- 1+ years experience managing an intake/request queue or similar prioritization workflow.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with healthcare operations (payer/provider), healthcare analytics, or utilization management/prior authorization workflows; domain experience with Medicaid a plus.
- Strong Excel, SQL, analytics, and data storytelling skills.
- Familiarity with BI/dashboard tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar).
- Proven ability to ship a product feature from concept through launch.
- Interest in applying AI tools to improve analytics workflows.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

Compensation
- The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is: $83,430.00 - $222,480.00 (base annual salary).
This range represents the base annual salary for positions in the job grade within which this role falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position may be eligible for a bonus or short-term incentive in addition to base pay.
