What You’ll Do

This Associate Product Manager will support lifecycle management for Commercial and Gate Operator product lines for a confidential client in the Business Consulting and Services industry. You’ll contribute to product development, launches, continuous improvements, and day-to-day product support while working with cross-functional teams to deliver customer value.

  • Support product lifecycle activities from concept through post-launch
  • Assist with product launches, documentation, and introduction plans
  • Investigate and help resolve customer support and quality issues
  • Track and communicate engineering change orders (ECOs), product information bulletins (PIBs), and other product communications

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales, manufacturing, engineering, and service teams to translate customer needs into product updates and collateral
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, sales/field training materials, and product spec sheets
  • Conduct market and competitive research to inform product strategy and prioritization
  • Assist with new product introductions (NPI) workflows and cross-functional readiness (manufacturing, quality, service)
  • Support trade show preparation, customer events, and product demonstrations
  • Collaborate on pricing updates and maintenance in business systems (example systems: Oracle, JDE)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and follow tasks through to completion
  • Comfortable using MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and collateral
  • Willingness to travel moderately for trade shows, supplier visits, or customer events

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or prior work experience in product management, product support, or related roles
  • Exposure to manufacturing, industrial, or heavy-equipment product environments
  • Familiarity with digital tools and AI-enabled workflows to support product decisions
  • Experience with ERP or pricing systems such as Oracle or JDE

Skills & Tools

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills

  • Technical writing and creation of sales/field enablement assets
  • Competitive analysis and market research
  • Microsoft Office; familiarity with Oracle/JDE is a plus

  • Location: Mount Hope, OH (on-site or hybrid as required by the client)
