Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Product Management Consultant to join the Software discipline on the Technology & Experience (TechEx) practice. This role offers hands-on product development and advisory experience across human-centered software and AI products. You will help shape product strategy, support development teams, contribute to discovery and QA, and apply AI tools responsibly to accelerate insights and delivery.


What You’ll Do

  • Assist in foundational Agile and UX product development practices: write user stories, refine backlogs, and document product requirements.
  • Contribute to discovery work: competitive research, observing user interviews, supporting technical analysis, and coordinating research activities.
  • Support Quality Assurance (QA) by helping define acceptance criteria and identifying process improvements.
  • Craft concise narratives and recommendations using storytelling principles and industry trends, with attention to AI and Generative AI opportunities.
  • Help design and implement digital offerings such as customer portals, intranet sites, mobile apps, integrations, and intelligent agents; support journey and persona mapping.
  • Create and maintain clear status and progress communications for stakeholders.
  • Analyze user engagement and market/persona data to surface trends and actionable recommendations.
  • Leverage and evaluate AI tools to accelerate analysis, synthesize information, and produce data-driven recommendations, exercising critical judgment.
  • Apply AI technologies (generative AI, automation, data models) to improve delivery efficiency and client outcomes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in progress with expected graduation between December 2026 and August 2027. Candidates must be on track to graduate within this window; graduation date will be verified.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without limitation or sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Reside within 50 miles of the assigned office prior to start date (hybrid team collaboration model).
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% (travel expenses covered by the employer).
  • Experience integrating AI tools (for example, ChatGPT) into workflows, plus strong critical thinking to evaluate outputs, mitigate bias, and ensure quality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Majors in Human Centered Design & Product Management, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Systems, or Product and User Experience Design.

Compensation & Location

  • Location: South San Francisco, CA (on-site / hybrid expectations as noted).
  • Estimated compensation shown on original posting: $99,347 per year (estimated).
  • This is an entry-level, full-time consulting role with client-facing and advisory responsibilities.
