You will be a cross-functional product owner responsible for P&L, roadmap prioritization, market research, pricing, and commercialization activities in a manufacturing environment focused on clean energy and cryogenic/industrial gas applications.

What You’ll Do

  • Actively manage financial performance of assigned product lines, including bookings and gross profitability.
  • Drive the product roadmap and participate as a leader on cross-functional New Product Development (NPD) core teams from pre-concept tollgate through product launch.
  • Manage product P&L, strategic planning, annual strategy deployment, and budgeting.
  • Gather and represent voice of customer and voice of business to shape requirements and product definitions.

  • Develop business cases for NPD projects and maintain Incremental Pipeline Value (IPV) and other portfolio metrics aligned with the strategic plan.
  • Execute Product Lifecycle Management, including SKU rationalization and obsolescence processes.
  • Own commercial elements of the portfolio: brand, pricing strategies, promotions, and service-level alignment.
  • Support marketing and launch plans — tools, collateral, and communications for internal sales teams and customers.
  • Visit customers to solicit feedback and validate product-market fit.
  • Collaborate daily with Commercial, R&D, Operations, Legal, and Finance to ensure aligned execution.
  • Travel up to 30%, primarily domestic with occasional international travel.

  • Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible product management experience.
  • Proven P&L and portfolio management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, R&D, operations, finance, legal).
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
  • Ability to translate customer, market, and application requirements into product design and go-to-market strategies.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills; familiarity with Salesforce and Adobe tools preferred.
  • ERP experience required; Infor XA a plus.

Preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in cryogenic and industrial gas markets or closely related industries.
  • Experience with product/project management software and database management.
