What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level / new-grad Product Designer to join a core product team focused on consumer, merchant, or delivery experiences. As an early-career designer you will:
- Collaborate with product, research, data, and engineering to define problems and ship user-centered solutions.
- Prototype rapidly using Figma and AI-assisted design tools to iterate on interaction and visual details.
- Build high-fidelity prototypes and test concepts with real users, incorporating feedback to improve outcomes.
- Use AI tools to explore divergent directions, validate ideas, and pressure-test designs before engineering implementation.
- Contribute to design systems, documentation, and handoffs to engineering to ensure high-quality implementation at scale.
What We’re Looking For
You should be an early-career designer or soon-to-be graduate with a strong portfolio that demonstrates design fundamentals and a clear product mindset.
- You’re graduating with a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, Computer Science, Industrial Design, or a related field by Summer 2027 and are available to start full-time in 2027.
- Strong visual and interaction design fundamentals demonstrated in a portfolio (school work, internships, or side projects).
- At least one case study showing how you incorporated AI into the design process or designed an AI-powered experience.
- Comfortable prototyping and communicating through interactive prototypes (Figma + AI-driven tooling like Cursor, Claude Code, or similar).
- Curious, coachable, and able to make decisions or ask for help—iterates quickly on feedback.
- Excellent collaboration skills; able to work cross-functionally with PMs, engineers, and researchers.
Preferred (not required):
- Experience building or contributing to design systems.
- Internship or applied experience on consumer-facing or marketplace products.
- Basic familiarity with usability testing and user research methods.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary range (United States): $105,400 — $155,000 USD. Final compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and specific work location; base pay is localized to the employee’s work location.

Additional Details
- Employment type: Full-time (contractor engagement may be possible per team needs).
