Overview
Confidential Client (via Careertakes) is hiring a Procurement Data Analyst to help build the analytics foundation for a fast-growing procurement organization. This early-career, full-time role offers ownership over dashboards, data pipelines, and reporting used by procurement, sourcing, and leadership teams. Location: Commerce City, CO (on-site).

What You’ll Do
Reporting & Dashboard Development
- Build and maintain procurement dashboards and reports in Sigma (or comparable BI tools) covering spend analytics, supplier performance, procurement KPIs, and category-level trends.
- Support OFCI tracking workflows in Sigma to improve forecast visibility, milestone tracking, and exception flagging.
- Respond to ad hoc requests from category managers, regional procurement managers, and leadership with clean, repeatable analyses.
Data Management & Quality
- Support Snowflake pipeline maintenance and data quality monitoring so procurement data from NetSuite, Procore, and other sources is accurate and timely.
- Maintain data dictionaries, field-level documentation, and source-of-truth references to keep reporting consistent and auditable.
- Identify and flag data quality issues; coordinate with platform owners and the broader data team to resolve discrepancies at the source.
Analytics & Insights
- Develop supplier performance and risk analytics to identify underperforming suppliers, concentration risk, and escalation triggers.
- Contribute to spend analytics to surface where procurement dollars are going, trends, and opportunity areas.
- Assist in modeling and analyses that support sourcing decisions, negotiations, and supplier reviews.
Process & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual data work — build automations, lookup tools, and self-service solutions that free up team capacity.
- Partner with Procurement Transformation & Governance to ensure reporting aligns with evolving process standards and system configurations.

Qualifications
- 2–4 years in data analytics, business intelligence, or related work (internships and co-ops considered).
- Proficiency in SQL; ability to write and troubleshoot queries against relational or cloud warehouses.
- Hands-on experience building dashboards in Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar.
- Familiarity with cloud warehouses (Snowflake preferred) and basic pipeline concepts.
- Exposure to ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP) or project platforms (Procore, Smartsheet) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field.
