Position overview

Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Procurement Coordinator to join their Procurement team supporting purchase administration, invoice validation, and cross-functional operations. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone early in their career who is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn procurement fundamentals in a fast-paced interior design and home furnishings environment.

  • Location: Manhattan, NY (hybrid; onsite 3 days per week)
  • Employment type: Full-time
  • Salary range: $55,000—$65,000 USD per year

What you’ll do (Responsibilities)

  • Support invoice validation and escalate discrepancies to the Logistics Lead or procurement partners as needed.
  • Serve as the procurement liaison for invoice automation and support automated invoice entry workflows.
  • Assist with purchase order creation, tracking, and administrative follow-up.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing data in supply chain systems and ERPs.
  • Support New Goods launch functions and coordinate related procurement tasks.
  • Respond to or coordinate responses to sales inquiries; own visibility projects for sales when assigned.
  • Coordinate routine operational requests with warehouse, finance, and sales teams.
  • Assist with reporting, data entry, and ad-hoc operational tasks.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes and contribute to continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for (Requirements)

  • Experience: 0–1 years in supply chain, logistics, procurement, or administrative operations preferred.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, logistics, or related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail with reliable follow-through.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable using Excel and internal systems; ERP experience is a plus.
  • Proactive mindset, reliability, and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented and comfortable supporting multiple stakeholders.

Work model

This is a hybrid role. You will be expected onsite in Manhattan, NY three days per week and remote the remaining days according to team scheduling.


Compensation & benefits

Salary: $55,000—$65,000 USD per year.
