What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking motivated Entry Level and Associate Procurement Agents to join their on-site procurement team in Berkeley, MO. You will support sourcing, contracting, supplier performance and day-to-day supply chain activities to ensure products and services are delivered on time, at the right quality, and at competitive cost.

• Support continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
• Contribute to sourcing strategies and supplier selection
• Assist with contract preparation, negotiations and execution of binding agreements
• Collect and analyze supplier performance data and support improvement activities
• Coordinate schedules, supplier quality, delivery and related financial performance monitoring
• Help manage risk, issues and opportunities related to supply activities
• Work with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with program and product requirements
• Travel expected to be less than 10%

Responsibilities

• Integrate program, customer and product needs into source selection and contracting strategies
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms (under supervision at Entry level; independently at Associate level)
• Prepare and execute proprietary and negotiated contractual documents
• Track supplier metrics and communicate performance expectations
• Initiate supplier improvement activities and integrate results into contracts and sourcing
• Support SAP or other procurement systems usage and data entry as required

Minimum Qualifications

• More than 1 year of experience in supply chain or supply chain management
• More than 1 year of Microsoft Office experience (Excel competency expected)
• Customer service experience and ability to work cross-functionally
• Ability to work 100% onsite at the listed location and available for 1st shift
• Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred (not required)
• Experience with contracts and proposals
• Experience leading supplier terms & conditions and price negotiations
• Experience negotiating price and schedule with suppliers and customers
• Experience using SAP or similar enterprise procurement systems
• For Associate level: typically 3+ years’ related work experience or relevant military experience

Compensation & Logistics

• Employment type: Contract + Full time (per posting)
• Summary pay range (Entry Level 1): $58,650 - $72,450 per year
• Summary pay range (Associate Level 2): $69,700 - $86,100 per year
• Relocation assistance is not provided — candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense
• This role may require U.S. Security Clearance (interim and/or final Secret clearance post-start). U.S. Citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.
• Export control: U.S. Person required per 22 C.F.R. §120.62
• Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
