What You’ll Do

This entry-level Processing Technician role supports post-harvest and processing operations for cannabis products. You will follow SOPs and GMP to help convert harvested plant material into finished goods, maintain accurate records, and support quality control activities.

  • Assist with harvest, trimming, and preparation of plant material for extraction and processing
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and good manufacturing practices (GMP)
  • Perform product inspection and defect identification using magnification tools
  • Record and track weights, measurements, batch and inventory data using company systems (Metric, Excel)
  • Maintain sanitation and sterility of processing rooms and equipment; perform post-harvest cleaning
  • Prepare materials for extraction and assist with extraction prep tasks
  • Package finished product per SOPs and quality requirements
  • Support inventory reporting and schedule/forecast reviews to meet production targets
  • Work as part of a fast-paced team to meet daily production goals

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a science field preferred
  • Lab experience or familiarity with processing / extraction methods preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to follow precise directions and maintain consistency with procedures
  • Positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move materials across the facility as needed

Schedule & Location

  • Typical schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (subject to change based on business needs)
  • On-site role in Middlefield, OH

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Manufacturing environment requiring extended standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Occasional repetitive hand/arm use for trimming and manipulation of small objects
  • Ability to work in a humid and pollinated environment
