What You’ll Do

The Process Technician I supports day-to-day production in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This entry-level role provides hands-on exposure to automated production systems and process control tools while helping maintain product quality, safety, and throughput.

• Perform routine inspections and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) on the production floor
• Monitor production metrics (yield/A-rate, repair rate, output performance, fragmentation, line efficiency) and escalate anomalies
• Identify, document, and report process abnormalities or equipment issues
• Assist with basic root-cause analysis and corrective action implementation
• Collect and analyze process data; communicate trends to supervisors or engineers
• Support Manufacturing Execution System (MES) tasks: order setup, order checks, and production data verification
• Help train new operators and reinforce SOP compliance and safe work practices
• Participate in kaizen and continuous improvement activities and assist with validation of improvements

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or technical certificate in Manufacturing Technology, Engineering Technology, Electronics, Materials Science, or a related field — OR equivalent hands-on manufacturing experience
• 0–2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or a technical environment (internship/co-op acceptable)
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality concepts
• Ability to read work instructions, follow procedures, and document results
• Willingness to work in shifts, and to learn MES/ERP systems on the job

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering technology, Materials Science, Physics, Semiconductor Technology, or related field
• Experience in high-volume, automated, or electronics/solar manufacturing environments
• Familiarity with MES, ERP, or production tracking systems
• Bilingual skills (English/Mandarin) are a plus but not required

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word; PowerPoint exposure preferred)

• Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, temperature variation, and automated equipment
• Use of required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, or holidays as business needs require

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range (full-time): $48,506.00 - $66,697.00 per year
