What You’ll Do
This Confidential Client is hiring a Process Integration Development Engineer (entry‑ to mid‑level) to support TEM metrology data generation, automation, and analysis for semiconductor process integration efforts in Hillsboro, OR. You will:
- Support transmission electron microscopy (TEM) metrology data collection and perform dimensional analysis to inform manufacturing process control and yield improvement.
- Develop and maintain automation pipelines (back end and front end) for high-volume metrology dataflow and tooling.
- Extract dimensional data from images using image processing techniques and tools (e.g., Python, OpenCV).
- Analyze datasets using Python, SQL, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaborate closely with tool operation teams, TEM data analysts, and process/yield engineers to communicate technical findings and reliability risks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help deploy ML/computer‑vision models, where applicable.
What We’re Looking For (Minimum Qualifications)
You must possess the following to be considered:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.
- At least 2 years of technical experience that may include coursework, research projects, internships, military training, or industry roles, with experience in:
- Semiconductor manufacturing processes or high‑volume manufacturing environments.
- Statistical analysis, design of experiments (DOE), SPC, or structured problem‑solving.
- Programming and data analysis (Python, SQL) and data visualization (Power BI, Tableau).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to use data to drive engineering decisions.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
The following are advantages but not required:
- 3+ years of industrial experience in related technical fields.
- Hands‑on experience with OpenCV and Python for image processing, data extraction, and automated pipeline design.
- Experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, or computer vision projects.
- Familiarity with software development practices (Git, REST APIs), database design, or cloud‑based applications.
