What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is seeking an entry-level Process Improvement Analyst to measure, analyze, and improve operational processes across their IT-supported operations. This role focuses on gathering data, benchmarking current-state processes, recommending practical improvements, and supporting implementations that drive safety, productivity, and cost reduction.
- Analyze and measure the effectiveness of existing business processes and document findings.
- Research internal and external best practices and establish benchmark data.
- Collect, clean, and analyze process and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
- Recommend scalable, repeatable process changes and supporting procedures.
- Determine how information technologies and BI tools can enable process reengineering.
- Support process discovery and improvement initiatives using project coordination and basic project management capabilities.
- Prepare clear reports, visualizations, and presentations to share insights with stakeholders.
- Act as a “player-coach” in some engagements — contributing individually while supporting others when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of business process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma basics) and project coordination principles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Access, Power BI, or similar BI/database tools.
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to support operational and business decisions.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, organization, and written/verbal communication skills.
- Comfort managing multiple priorities and collaborating within cross-functional teams.
- Entry-level to early-career professionals with a clear interest in process improvement, reporting, analytics, and operational excellence.
