What You’ll Do

This Contract-to-Hire role is for a hands-on Process Engineering Technician to support manufacturing equipment setup, assembly, and process validation in a regulated environment. Working onsite in Tarrytown, TX, you will partner closely with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams to keep equipment running and support continuous improvement.

  • Assemble and install manufacturing equipment using drawings, schematics, and work instructions
  • Build and wire electrical control panels and equipment components
  • Support equipment setup, testing, qualification, and validation activities
  • Read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics; learn new diagrams as needed
  • Troubleshoot basic equipment and wiring issues and escalate complex problems appropriately
  • Document work accurately and follow established quality and safety procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production launches and process improvements

Qualifications

We are looking for mechanically inclined candidates who are eager to learn and grow in a manufacturing engineering environment.

  • Associate degree, technical certificate, or bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Experience with mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, or industrial equipment is a plus
  • Able to read or learn to read electrical schematics and technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail, good documentation habits, and willingness to learn on the job
  • Familiarity with SolidWorks or prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is beneficial

  • Employment type: Contract to Hire (CONTRACTOR)
  • Pay range: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour (range depends on qualifications and experience)
