Overview

Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Process Engineer in Minneapolis, MN. This role is ideal for graduates (December 2026 or May 2027) or recent graduates with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Technology who want hands-on process design experience. Work includes P&IDs, process flow diagrams, equipment layouts, specifications and conveying system design for dry, liquid and gas commodities.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop process design solutions using engineering fundamentals and strong problem-solving skills
  • Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications and other design documents
  • Learn and apply design codes and industry standards
  • Use process engineering and design software to support project deliverables
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering and design teams
  • Visit construction jobsites (approx. 5% travel) to observe field work and prepare reports
  • Grow into more complex assignments and increased responsibility over time

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Technology
  • Graduating December 2026 or May 2027, or recently graduated
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
  • Interest in process systems and multidisciplinary project work
  • Comfortable working under the direction of project or senior engineers and collaborating across teams

Salary & Benefits

  • Starting Annual Salary Range: $69,000–$85,000 (range provided by the source)
