Position Summary
Confidential Client is hiring an Entry‑Level Process Engineer (Process Engineer I) in Conshohocken, PA. This role supports process design and engineering for manufacturing facilities, equipment, critical utilities and supporting documentation. You will work on multidisciplinary project teams, contribute to engineering calculations and produce core deliverables such as P&IDs, process flow diagrams and equipment datasheets.
What You’ll Do
- Support documentation of process design scope and coordinate scope with other disciplines
- Perform fundamental engineering calculations (heat transfer, pressure drop, basic sizing, material & energy balances)
- Help develop Block and Process Flow Diagrams, User Requirements Specifications, Equipment Lists, General Arrangements, Equipment Datasheets, Utility Summaries and P&IDs
- Participate in conceptual through construction documentation phases and construction administration as needed
- Support field installation teams and perform construction site observations when required
- Work on multiple projects concurrently and manage time effectively under the supervision of more experienced engineers
- Self‑check work and collaborate frequently with peers and supervisors to resolve technical issues

Required Qualifications
- ABET‑accredited Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Bioprocess Engineering
- 0–3 years of experience in a design firm or related engineering environment
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam registration or completion preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic experience performing engineering calculations and fundamental discipline design under supervision
- Familiarity with process modeling, material & energy balances, fluid mechanics and heat transfer fundamentals
- Experience or coursework in chemistry/biochemistry or bioprocess engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and exposure to process modeling / calculation software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to coordinate on cross‑discipline teams

Compensation
- Salary range: USD 72,980 – USD 87,576 per year (as listed by the client). Actual pay will depend on experience and qualifications and will comply with applicable state and local laws.
