What You’ll Do

As an entry-level Process Engineer supporting Confidential Client’s manufacturing operations, you will:

  • Provide hands-on technical support for daily process operations on the 3rd shift.
  • Develop and refine formulations and pour patterns to meet production specifications.
  • Plan and execute process improvement experiments to reduce waste and lower cost.
  • Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to diagnose and resolve equipment/process issues.
  • Optimize raw material usage and implement measures to improve yield and consistency.
  • Support product launches, sampling activities, and new plant startups as needed.
  • Participate in health, safety and quality audits; update and maintain SOPs, SOTs and process documentation.
  • Prepare and analyze technical reports summarizing experiments, corrective actions and continuous improvement results.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any accredited engineering discipline).
  • 0–2 years’ experience in an engineering or manufacturing role (entry-level welcome).
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and a practical, hands-on problem-solving approach.
  • Good verbal and interpersonal skills; able to work cross-functionally with production and maintenance.
  • Proficiency with Windows, spreadsheets, word processing and basic database tools.
  • Willingness to work 3rd shift and flexible scheduling as required.

Preferred / Helpful Skills

  • Familiarity with SPC and automotive quality standards.
  • Experience with statistical experiments, ladder logic, metering pumps, drives, sensors/transducers, control theory, hydraulics or pneumatics.
  • Experience or coursework in AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S and Kaizen methodologies.
  • Basic understanding of process control and instrumentation.

Compensation & Work Environment

  • Pay range: $73,000–$77,000 annually (reported by our client).
  • This is a shift-based, manufacturing-site role. Candidates must be able to perform site-required duties and adhere to safety and quality standards.
  • This position does not offer relocation or sponsorship.
