What You’ll Do

Launch your career in process improvement by supporting the identification, documentation, and optimization of business processes for a confidential client. This entry-level Process Analyst role will pair you with experienced team members to map processes, analyze process data, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Create and interpret process maps (SIPOC, swimlane diagrams) using organizational standards and tools; capture steps, roles, handoffs, and decision points
  • Participate in pain-point analysis sessions to capture and categorize inefficiencies; apply Lean thinking to identify opportunities
  • Assist with basic root-cause analysis techniques (e.g., 5 Whys) to identify underlying drivers of issues
  • Help collect and analyze process metrics (cycle time, volumes, error rates) to support problem definition and validate solutions
  • Draft and organize process improvement artifacts: problem statements, current-state analyses, solution outlines, and implementation plans
  • Contribute to solution brainstorming and clarify anticipated benefits and actions
  • Begin developing facilitation skills for small-group discussions and short presentations
  • Collaborate with process owners, subject-matter experts, and the Process Excellence team on cross-functional initiatives
  • Demonstrate adaptability, openness to feedback, and a strong learning orientation
  • Exhibit professionalism, manage time effectively, and take ownership of assigned tasks

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of full-time work experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Training or exposure to Business Process Management (BPM) tools and methodologies
  • Experience or training in process mapping, modeling, or reengineering
  • Familiarity with process flow diagrams and basic process design concepts
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Analytical, problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new tools quickly
  • Basic facilitation skills and the ability to manage simple meeting obstacles
  • Ability to incorporate appropriate security and data privacy safeguards when handling sensitive information
  • Ability to work collaboratively in team settings and show initiative

Recommended (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications

  • Training or coursework in Lean, Six Sigma, or BPM
  • Experience with process-mapping tools (Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart)
  • Exposure to data collection and analysis for process improvement
  • Prior experience contributing to team-based process improvement efforts

Compensation & Details

  • Employment type: Full time
  • Location: Redlands, CA (on-site)
  • Salary range: $70,720–$99,840 per year (range provided by confidential client)
