Overview

This is an entry-level to early-career Process Analyst role on the Plant Applications team supporting plant systems and logistics. You will work with plant operations, supply chain, and IT to analyze operational workflows, document requirements, support testing, and help deliver application improvements that optimize production and lab processes. This position is full-time and offers a hybrid/remote-friendly/telecommute arrangement with some on-site travel required.

  • Location: Villa Hills, KY (role supports plant facilities and is listed as TELECOMMUTE/remote-capable)
  • Employment type: Full-time
  • Travel: Approximately 10–20% (domestic & international for facility surveys, testing, go-lives)
  • Pay range (provided by client): $62,500 - $116,400 per year (actual pay depends on experience, location & other factors)

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with systems analysts and plant teams to gather requirements, conduct on-site facility surveys, and analyze operational data to define solution options.
  • Support design, documentation, and standardization of operational processes and functional workflows aligned with enterprise governance.
  • Assist in creating functional designs and fit/gap analyses; identify cross-process system dependencies.
  • Work with process owners to define use cases, establish process KPIs, and support business case development.
  • Create test cases and participate in Product Testing (PT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new builds and enhancements.
  • Support remote and on-site application deployments, user training, go-live execution, and post-implementation handoffs to support teams.
  • Provide functional troubleshooting for escalated operational issues, audit requests, and role-based security configurations.
  • Provide regular project status updates, resource estimates, and input into the application roadmap.

Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of experience in a business/process analyst role, technical support capacity, or plant/logistics operational environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, map business processes, and clearly communicate functional needs to development teams.
  • Experience writing or executing test scripts and participating in PT/UAT.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across levels, from plant operators to business leadership.
  • Organized with strong time-management skills and the ability to balance evolving priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel ~10–20% and to work occasional off-hours or weekends during go-lives and cutovers.
  • Successful completion of a background check is required.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent IT/business degree.

Preferred Skills

  • Basic SQL proficiency (SQL Server, MySQL, MariaDB) for querying backend logistics data.
  • Exposure to Linux operating systems.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and reporting formats (RDLC / XML).
  • Experience with process flowcharting tools (e.g., Visio).
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
  • General knowledge of manufacturing logistics, yard management, or facility vehicle flow.
