Confidential Client is hiring a Pricing Data Scientist to join a high-impact Pricing & Analytics function. This hybrid role (Tuesday–Thursday onsite) is based in Downers Grove, IL. The team uses large-scale data, statistical modeling, and automation to influence commercial pricing decisions.

What You’ll Do
- Develop, validate, and enhance pricing models and commercial pricing strategies.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks, and revenue opportunities using SQL and Python.
- Build automated analytical pipelines and reporting solutions to operationalize models.
- Support forecasting, experimentation design (A/B testing), and statistical modeling efforts.
- Partner with commercial stakeholders to translate business problems into analytical solutions and actionable recommendations.
- Present findings and insights to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to pricing and recommendation engine development, including feature engineering and model deployment support.
What We’re Looking For
Essential (required)
- 1–2 years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, Commercial/Revenue Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong Python programming skills for data analysis and modeling.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to explain technical results to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving aptitude.
Preferred
- Experience with Databricks or PySpark.
- Practical experience in machine learning and statistical modeling.
- Forecasting or predictive analytics experience.
- Dashboarding and visualization experience (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Prior exposure to pricing, revenue, customer, or commercial analytics.
