What You’ll Do

This Pricing Analyst I role supports routine pricing for business accounts to maximize profitability and efficient asset use. You will follow established pricing models and SOPs, escalating exceptions to leadership. Key responsibilities include:

  • Determine pricing consistent with client objectives, market rates, and customer needs
  • Support pricing team preparations for customer reviews and contract renewals
  • Collect and analyze preliminary rate and volume data, accessorials, and operational characteristics to inform profitable bids
  • Contribute to yield and revenue-quality improvements under leadership guidance
  • Create and execute basic account strategies to retain and expand business
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal operations, sales, and finance teams
  • Gain proficiency with pricing tools and consistently follow standard operating procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned that support pricing and account objectives

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications (required):

  • High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
  • 1–2 years relevant experience in transportation logistics, pricing, finance, or a comparable combination of education, experience, and training (including military equivalent)
  • Strong attention to detail and basic analytical ability
  • Ability to follow established pricing models and SOPs

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in transportation logistics, mathematics, economics, or related field
  • 1–2 years relevant transportation logistics, pricing, or finance experience
  • Familiarity with revenue management, bid support, and pricing tools

Compensation & Benefits

  • Estimated base pay: $53,664 per year (estimated)
