What You’ll Do
Confidential Client is hiring an entry-level Premium Auditor to perform premium audits for recently expired workers’ compensation policies. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented candidate who communicates clearly and is comfortable working independently after training.
- Conduct outreach (phone and written) to request payroll, tax, and related records from clients
- Complete phone interviews to document operations and employee duties for accurate classification
- Use industry manuals and guidelines to determine exposure bases and class codes
- Review and analyze payroll, tax, and accounting records to calculate premium exposure
- Prepare clear audit reports summarizing workers’ compensation exposure by class code
- Discuss classifications with clients and resolve disputes professionally
Who We’re Looking For
This is an entry-level role; prior workers’ compensation or payroll experience is helpful but not required — training is provided.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to problem-solve and resolve conflicts calmly and effectively
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and work independently
- Sound judgment and attention to detail when interpreting rules and records
- Comfortable reading and applying rules from manuals and guidelines
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Office tools; quick to learn new software
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- Customer-facing experience or experience reviewing financial records is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated pay (from source): $51,268 per year (estimated)
