What You’ll Do

The Confidential Client is hiring a Precast Plant Engineer to support daily precast plant operations, production scheduling, shop drawing review, material expediting, and routine project administration. This position supports a growing engineering/manufacturing team and is a strong fit for entry-level candidates or recent graduates who will receive on-the-job training and guidance.

  • Assist in developing daily casting and production schedules
  • Coordinate third-party trucking for outbound deliveries and schedule incoming materials
  • Perform quality reviews of shop drawings and submittals
  • Learn and apply product specification standards and the site Quality Control Plan
  • Maintain detailed job files and use the plant’s inventory/management software
  • Review and reconcile weekly production reports; review/approve timecards and some invoices
  • Provide on-site project administration support and collaborate with operations and field teams

Who We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related field
  • Entry-level candidates and recent graduates encouraged to apply; willingness to learn and follow established procedures
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using inventory/management software and reviewing technical submittals
  • Valid driver’s license and safe driving record (some driving required)
  • Ability to work in a loud, outdoor industrial environment and follow safety policies

Salary & Employment Type

  • Salary: $60,000–$75,000 per year (full-time)
  • Employment type: Full-time
  • Pay frequency and other pay details are provided by the Confidential Client

Location & Travel

  • Work location: Bluff Springs, TX
  • Some travel and driving between plant and project sites may be required

Work Environment & Physical Demands
