What You’ll Do

This entry-level role is designed for pre-med/pre-health candidates who want direct clinical experience and exposure to physicians in a specialty clinic setting. You will:

• Support patients from check-in through check-out to ensure a positive experience
• Room patients, record vitals and medical histories, and capture clinical information accurately
• Scribe physician visits and document assessments, plans and orders in the EMR
• Present concise patient updates to providers prior to appointments
• Assist with referrals, orders, scheduling follow-ups and basic care coordination
• Work closely with providers and clinical staff to maintain efficient clinic flow
• Participate in training and mentoring to build clinical skills and accumulate patient-facing hours

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in a science, health, or pre-med related field
• Intention to pursue advanced healthcare education (medical school, PA school, nursing school, etc.) within the next few years
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail, professionalism, and reliability
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Commitment to the role for approximately 18–24 months
• Reliable transportation for occasional travel between regional clinic locations

Preferred (but not required):

• Clinical scribing or EMR familiarity
• Experience with basic patient care or volunteer clinical hours

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $18.00 / hour (starting rate). Pay increases possible after certification and based on performance.
• Position type: Contract-to-hire, full-time (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Benefits (subject to eligibility and change): medical, dental & vision; 401(k); HSA; voluntary life/AD&D; short- and long-term disability; employee assistance program; paid time off (per policy)
• Company-sponsored Medical Assistant Certification (CCMA) and pay increase on certification

Schedule & Location

• Full-time, onsite position based in Eldorado Springs, CO.
• Contract-to-hire with hands-on clinic hours; occasional travel to nearby clinic sites may be required.
