Compensation

  • Estimated pay: $51,892 per year (estimated)

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver engaging classroom instruction aligned with North Carolina Pre‑K standards
  • Plan, adapt, and implement curriculum using the Frog Street Curriculum
  • Use Teaching Strategies assessment tools to document and track child progress
  • Maintain open, professional communication with families about development and behavior
  • Manage classroom routines and support a positive learning environment
  • Keep accurate records and ensure compliance with program requirements
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and collaborate with the teaching team
  • Coordinate closely with a co‑teacher and assistant to optimize classroom operations

Required qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field
  • Knowledge of early childhood curriculum development and child assessment practices
  • Strong classroom management and verbal/written communication skills
  • Patience, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to advancing education toward a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and obtaining a BK teaching license

Preferred qualifications

  • Entry‑level classroom experience in early childhood education
  • Familiarity with Frog Street Curriculum and Teaching Strategies tools (preferred, not required)
