What You’ll Do

This role is an entry-level/early-career Power Electronics / Electrical Engineering Technician position supporting product development, testing, and manufacturing for power transformer and magnetics assemblies on behalf of a confidential client.

  • Perform magnetic AQL component testing of samples and finished product
  • Troubleshoot and perform quality assurance post-manufacturing
  • Review electrical and mechanical drawings for application fit and flag issues
  • Propose fixes and submit concerns/solutions to customers under direction of senior engineering staff and project managers
  • Create and revise drawings in CAD software for manufacturer quotations
  • Match customer BOMs to finished-design BOMs and document discrepancies
  • Maintain engineering document control for changes and revision history
  • Build test fixtures and jigs as required for project verification
  • Follow directions, learn from senior engineers, project managers, and application sales leads, and take increasing ownership of assigned work

What We’re Looking For

We seek a detail-oriented, team-minded individual who is comfortable working across multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.

  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable performing repetitive processes across different projects
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with CAD software (AutoCAD or similar) for working with drawings
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively; takes ownership after training
  • Understands and follows confidentiality and proprietary-data requirements
  • Willingness to learn testing procedures and build fixtures

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
  • Entry-level to early-career candidates encouraged to apply
  • Mandarin language ability is a plus (preferred, not required)

  • Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
