Role summary
Confidential Client is hiring an Analyst – Corporate Banking Portfolio Management to support the Credit Products & Portfolio Management team. This entry-level, full-time role develops credit and market analysis skills (cash flow analysis, financial modeling, capitalization, industry research) and supports portfolio monitoring and underwriting of commercial credit exposures. This position is telecommute-eligible with ties to Grandview Heights, OH; specific work arrangements will be provided by the hiring team.
What You’ll Do
- Gather and analyze financial and business information to assess creditworthiness for loans and credit products.
- Build and maintain financial spreads, perform cash-flow analysis and financial modeling.
- Prepare risk ratings, performance tearsheets, compliance testing, and other portfolio monitoring activities.
- Support underwriting of commercial loans in accordance with credit policy, including collateral analysis and management assessment.
- Conduct industry and market research; distill findings into concise, presentation-ready summaries.
- Collaborate with Relationship Management, Credit Administration, Capital Markets, and other internal partners.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the portfolio management team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (financial modeling, spreadsheets).
- Basic knowledge or coursework in credit analysis, accounting, or financial statement analysis preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to summarize complex analysis clearly.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid/telecommute environment.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation range: $49,925 – $92,575 per year (base). Actual pay will depend on location, experience, and education.
- Eligible to participate in applicable incentive compensation programs.
