Position summary
Confidential Client is hiring a Platform Analyst, Junior to support knowledge management and technical documentation for mission-critical IT systems. This is an entry-level, full-time contract role based in Lawrence, IN. Active Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
What You’ll Do
- Support knowledge management activities for CCE engineering teams and maintain a centralized technical library.
- Organize and maintain operating manuals, application and training documentation.
- Document hardware and software interface specifications and support configuration baseline documentation.
- Archive system releases, maintain version control, and assist with lessons-learned documentation.
- Prepare and support Monthly Status Reports and collect required data.
- Coordinate document reviews and approvals and maintain user guides and support documentation.
Qualifications
- Entry-level — no prior professional experience required.
- CompTIA Security+ or (ISC)² SSCP certification required.
- Active Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure concepts.
- Document management experience preferred; SharePoint experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Technical writing, familiarity with ITIL concepts, or knowledge of DoD documentation standards are a plus.
Compensation & Employment Type
- Estimated base pay: $37,518 per year (estimated).
- Employment type: Full time — Contractor.
Clearance & Eligibility
- Active Secret security clearance required.
- Must be a United States citizen and able to pass a background check.
