Role Overview

Confidential Client is seeking a Physiologist to join their clinical team at a hospital facility in Commerce Township, MI. This position supports cardiac and wellness programs by assessing patients, developing individualized exercise prescriptions, and participating in educational and risk-reduction initiatives. Pay: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exercise testing, evaluation and individualized exercise prescriptions under established policies and supervision.
• Implement and monitor cardiac rehabilitation and risk-factor modification programs.
• Educate patients and community groups on exercise, lifestyle modification, and disease prevention.
• Document patient progress, perform clinical assessments and report findings to the interdisciplinary care team.
• Supervise and provide direction to support staff and students as appropriate.
• Maintain certifications, follow facility policies, and participate in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Allied Health or related discipline (e.g., Physical Therapy, Physiology, Physical Education, Community Education). Master’s degree preferred.
• Preferred: 1–2 years clinical experience in a specialty such as Cardiology or Cardiac Rehabilitation within a healthcare setting.
• Preferred: American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Certified Exercise Specialist.
• Required: Current BLS and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
