Overview
Confidential Client is seeking a Physician Practice Coordinator to support physician practice operations on first shift. This entry-level managerial role partners with the Practice Manager to maximize patient access and provider efficiency across assigned practice locations.
Compensation
- Pay Range: $22.71 - $34.06 per hour
What You’ll Do
The Physician Practice Coordinator will:
- Assist the Practice Manager with day-to-day operations to optimize patient access and provider efficiency.
- Serve as a liaison between management and clinical/clerical staff.
- Oversee daily office operations and staffing when requested.
- Participate in operating budget development and maintenance.
- Coordinate resolution of patient concerns and complaints.
- Organize and coordinate office meetings.
- Support annual staff performance appraisals and participate in training, coaching, and orientation of new staff.
- Assist with patient care tasks as designated by providers and within applicable licensure/certification.
- Train staff on EPIC workflows and help maintain efficient practice operations.
- Model professional behavior, handle difficult conversations, and manage multiple priorities.
Qualifications
Required
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and professional appearance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Tactful, confidential, flexible, and dependable under stress.
- Basic clerical skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office (preferred).
Preferred
- 1–3 years supervisory experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) preferred.
- Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems.
