The Physical Therapy Assistant at Confidential Client supports licensed Physical Therapists in delivering individualized inpatient care to improve patient mobility, function, and quality of life. What You’ll Do
- Provide direct patient care by delivering individualized physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Help patients improve mobility, function, and quality of life using evidence-based techniques and therapeutic modalities.
- Build strong patient relationships and maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Support interdisciplinary care by communicating with nurses, physicians, therapists, and other team members to coordinate safe, effective treatment plans.
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to therapy technicians and students; participate in staff meetings, committee work, and shared-learning activities.
- Contribute to clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and fiscal stewardship while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Own your professional development by identifying learning needs, pursuing continuing education, and staying current with clinical best practices.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program with an associate’s degree (or certificate where recognized by state licensure) required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Entry-level/new graduates are welcome; satisfactory completion of required clinical work is required.
- Two (2) years’ experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
- One (1) year prior experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems preferred.
- Licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant in state(s) of practice required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association required.
- Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training and Adult Dependent Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training required in states where providing care.
Schedule & Location
- Shift: Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM–6:00 PM, plus rotating weekends.
- Location: Rock Island, IL (on-site).
- Employment type: Full-time.

- Estimated annual pay: $83,581 per year (estimated). Specific offers depend on experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs. This estimate does not include bonuses, differential pay, or other forms of compensation.
