What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for PRN / per-diem coverage in White Oak, TX. As a Physical Therapist you will provide patient-centered assessment and treatment, develop measurable care plans, and contribute to departmental quality and program operations. This role supports both inpatient and outpatient care and may include supervising Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants, rehab technicians, and participating in student programs.

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of physical and cognitive function for inpatients and outpatients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals in collaboration with patients and families.
• Provide skilled therapeutic interventions and adjust treatment based on patient response and progress.
• Complete timely documentation: initial evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries, and other required records.
• Participate in patient care and family conferences, departmental meetings, and interdisciplinary rounds.
• Provide patient and family education and coordinate discharge planning and appropriate referrals to community resources.
• Support clinical program development, performance improvement initiatives, and departmental productivity goals.
• Supervise and support Physical Therapy Assistant and student programs as needed.
• Foster professional relationships with physicians, referral sources, and other members of the care team.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or entry-level Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution required.
• Licensure: Current license as a Physical Therapist from the Texas Executive Council of Physical and Occupational Therapy Examiners (or ability to obtain prior to start).
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• Experience: Entry level accepted; prior clinical experience a plus.
• Other: Must successfully complete pre-employment and annual health screenings. Ability to adapt assessments and treatments to age-specific, cultural, and developmental needs of patients.
