What You’ll Do

Confidential Client is building a talent pool of licensed Physical Therapists to support student access and participation in educational programs. As part of this talent pool, you may be considered for openings across school sites as vacancies arise.

• Provide school-based physical therapy services that support students' access to instruction and participation in school activities.
• Evaluate physical functioning, mobility, motor performance, and need for assistive technology in students.
• Develop and implement therapeutic interventions and individualized treatment plans aligned with student IEPs and Section 504 plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (teachers, special educators, school nurses, families) to support student participation and progress.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and recommendations consistent with division practices and regulatory requirements.
• Consult with staff and families regarding strategies, environmental modifications, and equipment to promote student independence.

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited program — OR — a bachelor’s or master’s degree in physical therapy for individuals who were licensed prior to the DPT transition to the entry-level degree.
• Current, valid license to practice physical therapy issued by the Virginia Board of Physical Therapy.
• Experience or demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams and to support IEP and Section 504 processes.

Compensation & Location

• Estimated salary (per source posting): $55,599 per year — estimated.
• Location: Various school sites across the Confidential Client service area (national posting / talent pool). Candidates must meet state licensure requirements noted above.
